Accounting Senior Officer - AP

Position Job Scope

  • Review documents from purchase department, vendors , employees and all expenses reimbursement before processing record expenses and payment. Record accounts payable domestic and oversea transactions and related adjustment transactions in SAP system.
  • Ensure the completeness of data recorded monthly. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Reconcile GL account code Accounts Payable (AP) balance and other related accounts such as Accrued Expenses, Input Vat, Undue Input Vat.
  • Prepare Input Vat Report and Reconcile Input Vat.
  • Prepare Withholding Tax Certificate.
  • Prepare Tax assessment and Submit tax on RD website. (PND.3,PND.53,PND.54,PP36,PP30).
  • Record Fixed Asset in Register, Record Fixed Asset Voucher, Calculate depreciation and Prepare Fixed Asset Movement for Support External Audit.
  • Supporting documentation for External Audit and Internal Audit.
  • Other Ad Hoc tasks

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax and accounting roles.
  • Have experience in handling tax audits.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT, WHT, CIT, stamp duty and accounting processes, including reconciliations.
  • Excellent numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Business-minded with self-confidence.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
