Procurement Senior Officer - Technical

Position Job Scope

Job Responsibility

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for imported machinery, spare parts, technical equipment, and CAPEX projects to support manufacturing operations.

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, commercial analysis, negotiation, and contract management.

• Source and procure production machinery, OEM spare parts, automation systems, utilities equipment, and engineering-related materials from local and international suppliers.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Project teams to understand technical requirements and provide effective sourcing solutions.

• Lead procurement activities for plant expansion, renovation, equipment upgrade, and modernization projects.

• Manage supplier relationships, performance evaluations, and risk mitigation plans to ensure reliable supply and service quality.

• Coordinate import and logistics activities, including shipment planning, customs clearance, documentation, and compliance with import regulations.

• Monitor spare parts consumption and inventory levels to support preventive maintenance programs and minimize production downtime.

• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, warranties, and service agreements to optimize total cost of ownership and generate procurement savings.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, governance standards, and approval processes.

• Prepare procurement reports, market analysis, and commercial recommendations to support management decision-making.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and procurement efficiency.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Management, or related fields.

• 3-10+ years in Procurement, Technical Purchasing, MRO, Engineering Procurement, or CAPEX Sourcing.

• Experience with imported machinery, spare parts, OEM suppliers, and international sourcing.

• Knowledge of customs, import processes, and international logistics.

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

• SAP/MM procurement experience preferred.

• Strong English communication and commercial negotiation capability.
